Janelle N. Williams
Ms. Williams is an associate attorney of the firm and a member of the Commercial Real Estate Group and the Business & Finance Group.
Ms. Williams’ experience includes drafting leases on behalf of commercial landlords and tenants, assisting with the documentation and due diligence review in the sale and acquisition of real property, and addressing environmental issues in transactions involving the remediation of contaminated property. Ms. Williams has also advised and assisted entrepreneurs and small business owners with general corporate matters, and drafts documents for a variety of business transactions.
Education:
Janelle is a graduate of Binghamton University, SUNY (B.A., Sociology, 2020); and the University of Connecticut School of Law (J.D., 2024), where she served as Associate Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law, Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, and Student Attorney at the Transactional Law Clinic.

Professional & Civic Organizations:
Ms. Williams serves on the Board of Directors for the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association. She is also a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, she participated in the ABA Judicial Clerkship Program and served as the 56th Secretary of the Northeast Region of the National Black Law Students Association.
Honors & Awards:
Ms. Williams received the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association’s 2023 Priscilla Green Scholarship Award.
